This yellow glass barrel-style mug with a carved wood handle belongs to the 1958 graduating class of Alfred I. DuPont High School in Jacksonville, Florida — home of the Dragons. Made by Siesta Ware, embossed on the bottom, with the Kelly Green dragon mascot screen printed on the glass and the metal band hand-applied to secure the wood handle. We have 2 available, both in very similar condition.
A wonderful piece of Jacksonville school history and mid-century Americana. Perfect for a DuPont Dragons alum, a Florida history collector, or anyone who loves a piece of genuine local nostalgia.
